Their flight landed at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where our professional team greeted them with warm smiles and seamless assistance. After immigration and baggage formalities, the group was transferred in comfortable private MiniVans to their hotel in the city. In the afternoon, a small group of four guests set out to visit one of Nairobi’s most beloved attractions — the Giraffe Center. Nestled in the leafy suburb of Karen, the Giraffe Center is not just a tourist stop, but a vital conservation site dedicated to protecting the endangered Rothschild giraffe, one of the rarest giraffe species in Africa.
Our guests had the unique opportunity to feed the giraffes by hand, pose for some playful close-up photos, and learn about the giraffe conservation efforts supported by the African Fund for Endangered Wildlife. The highlight was seeing the joy on their faces as these majestic animals gently took food from their palms — a moment of awe and connection that truly marked the beginning of their African journey.
Dinner & Rest – Preparing for the Adventure Ahead
As the sun dipped over the Nairobi skyline, the group returned to the hotel where a comfortable dinner awaited. It was a time to share first impressions, reflect on the day, and get excited about what lies ahead. After dinner, the guests retired to their rooms for a well-deserved rest before the adventure begins in full — with destinations like Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara, and Amboseli National Park still to come.
