Day 1 – Arrival in Beijing 

Our guest’s journey began with a warm welcome upon arrival at Beijing Capital International Airport. After immigration and customs, a comfortable airport pick-up and hotel transfer awaited, arranged seamlessly by Triptrek’s local team.

As the first stop of their Chinese escapade, Beijing sets the tone with its striking contrast — ancient wonders standing tall beside sleek skyscrapers. The evening offered time to relax and soak in the rhythm of the city, with tantalizing local cuisine and the gentle hum of Beijing nightlife hinting at the adventures ahead.

Day 2 – Exploring the Heart of Beijing

The second day was dedicated to exploring Beijing’s imperial treasures and historic heart.

Tiananmen Square – The journey began at the world’s largest public square, the symbolic center of modern China. With the Monument to the People’s Heroes and the National Museum of China framing the vast plaza, it’s a site that captures the nation’s spirit.

The Forbidden City (Palace Museum) – Next, travelers stepped back into the Ming and Qing dynasties at this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Once home to emperors, the palace complex features magnificent courtyards, golden roofs, and artifacts that tell centuries of history.

Temple of Heaven – The day concluded with a visit to this architectural masterpiece, where emperors once prayed for good harvests. The intricate design and serene surroundings reflect ancient Chinese cosmology and craftsmanship at its finest.
